What is PGDM Banking and Financial Services?
IMT Ghaziabad offers AICTE-approved PGDM-Banking & Financial Services (BFS) in collaboration with Vlerick Business School (VBS), Belgium. Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks are eligible to apply for the program. Selection for PGDM-BFS IMT Ghaziabad is based on CAT/ XAT/ GMAT score followed by Counselling and PI. Shortlisted candidates also need to submit a Profile detail form, SOP, and One-minute video during the admission process. IMT Ghaziabad PGDM BFS Phase I Application will be available in September and the Counselling will be held in January.

- IMT Ghaziabad launched PGDM BFS. The first batch of the program included 32 students while there is a rise in the number of students enrolled in the second batch i.e 40.
- Students of PGDM BFS have received job offers and internships in banks, financial sector, consulting & analytics form in a diverse set of roles.
- PGDM BFS curriculum is jointly constructed by IMT Ghaziabad and VBS, where 40% of the courses are delivered by VBS faculty.
- During the 2022 placement drive, the highest salary package of INR 62 LPA & average salary of INR 15.28 LPA were offered to the PGDM students.
Why Study PGDM Banking and Financial Services?
IMT Ghaziabad PGDM BFS program is offered n collaboration with Vlerick Business School, Belgium. The program is approved by AICTE. The main goal of the program is to create and carve budding managers and Future Leaders in the banking and services industry.
- Contemporary skills and knowledge regarding core Operations of banking and financial services are being taught as a part of the course work.
- The course work lasts for four semesters, that is two years.
- Students can go to internships in the third and fourth semesters.
- In the sixth semester, there is a Bootcamp of 2 weeks at VSB which is mandatory for all candidates.
PGDM Banking and Financial Services : Admission Guidelines
Shortlisting for PGDM BFS IMT Ghaziabad will be based on the performance in exams like CAT/ XAT/ GMAT followed by 15-20 minutes long online Personal Interviews with 2-3 panelists. The candidates are analyzed based on the performance in components such as:
- CAT/ XAT/ GMAT score
- Work experience
- Academic diversity
- Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates further have to submit a Profile Detail Form, filled with their basic profile, educational background, work experience and 300-word SOP in the provided space. Also, candidates need to upload a one-minute video introducing themselves, their background and career aspiration, etc. before the admission process begins in the month of February 2021.
During the personal interview, IMT Ghaziabad will evaluate the candidate on the basis of the following parameters:
